The art of the stack
Carefully coordinated or mixed in a considered clash, stacking your jewelry is the most impactful way to personalize your look. Our head of jewelry, Min Lee, breaks down the best way to stack your rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings to build the ultimate jewelry wardrobe that you never have to take off.
Opt for multiple hoops
‘Jade Trau is a fifth-generation diamantaire who knows how women want to wear diamonds — case in point, these diamond hoops. Persée founder Nawal Laoui discovered the drilled diamonds technique — seen on this drop style — on a trip to Tokyo. Pair with a Boucheron diamond earring and hinged Repossi ear cuff.’
Layer rainbow rings
‘Spinelli Kilcollin made the band ring cool again with its signature layered designs. This piece features rare yellow diamonds — ones this size are not used often. Pair with Boghossian’s eternity ring, with its patented diamond setting, and finish with Boucheron’s Quatre Radiant ring, the slimmer update of the iconic Quatre band collection.’
Pile up your bangles
‘The Cable bracelet is a David Yurman signature — the designer originally twisted 50ft of wire to create it in 1983. It’s layered here with De Beers Jewellers’ adjustable oval bangle and SHAY’s wide bangle with baguette-cut diamonds, which emulates the pieces that were often worn two or three at a time in the Victorian era.’
Pair contrasting necklaces
‘Rainbow colors are trending and SHAY’s choker is perfect: it's meant to be worn higher up the neck so will layer easily. We’ve chosen the Pomellato lariat, with sky-blue topaz Nudo gemstones, to sit lower on the neck. It can convert into a sautoir or double-wrap necklace via two innovative 18kt gold links.’
